Torunian Carbon Symposium Toruń-Bachotek is once again taking place in Bachotek in the beginning of september.     The VI Torunian Carbon Symposium will focus on carbon structures containing mainly elemental carbon. Among the topics to be discussed are: carbon nanotubes fullerenes, fullerites and fullerides grafite intercalation compounds structure and properties of mesophase pitches diamond CVD films structure and properties of amorphous hydrogenated carbons some problems of calcination, carbonisation and graphitization The purpose of Symposium are: presentation of structural investigations of carbon in Poland and comparison with investigation in other countries integration and activation of research of the different forms of carbon in our country     Represntatives of the most important producers of carbon and graphite materials in Poland and representatives of the majority of the most important research groups from the science centres working on the chemistry and physics of carbon have been invited to participate in the symposium.
