1^st Torunian Carbon Symposium was held at the Nicholas Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland) from 20^th to 21^st september 1992.
   The Carbon Group of the Institute of Physics, Nicholas Copernicus University in collaboration with Polish Graphite Society, organized it.
   The same organizers, organized next five Symposia with Prof. F. Rozpłoch as a group leader, in two years interval beginning from 1995.
   The scope of the Symposium will cover structures of different forms of carbon, i.e. amorphous hydrogenated carbons, carbon structures containing higher ordered BSU, CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) diamond films, fullerites, nanotubes, graphite and GIC (Graphite Intercalation Compounds).
   The organizers cordially invite you to praticipate in 7^th Symposium and expect that most of participants will give their own scientific contribution.
    Well-known foreign scientists will be guests of the Symposium.

    The Symposium will take place in Institute of Physics Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Accommodation will be provided mainly in University Hotel (place for 60 persons in single and double rooms). All other hotels in Toruń are possible.

   Official language of the Symposium will be English. Short reports (15 min.) permissible in Polish.

2. PRESENTATION FORMS

There will be three forms of presentation:
    a) 30-minutes lecture
    b) 15-minutes report
    c) poster (form 100cm x 80cm)

    Abstracts of the lectures, reports and posters should be sent to the organizers no later then till the end of June. Abstracts should be no more then one A4 sheet with 1-inch margins, 12 points lettering, 1,5 spacing. An electronic form (file on a diskette or as attachment for e-mail) is required. Preferred formats of the files are RTF, Word 2000 (or earlier) or ASCII (without mentioned above formatting).

3. Registration form should be returned till 10^th June 2005 r.

    c) 450 zł - students accompanying their supervisor
            (400 zł with discount)
    d) 250 zł - accompanying persons
            (200 zł with discount)
    e) Free - invited speakers & honor guests
  In case of paid no later then till 30^th June one can apply a discount of 50 zł per person (as marked above).
